These shoelaces closely resemble the original flat laces of White's boots in terms of braiding and texture. The color is black, and of course, they come in a set of two. The length is approximately 155cm, and they stretch considerably when pulled, reaching about 180cm. They are high-quality, tubular laces with a distinctive braid that closely resembles White's. When new, the width is typically 10mm, but it narrows to 5mm when stretched. As they break in, they should settle to a comfortable 7-8mm. They are slightly thicker than the originals, but the appearance of the stretched braid is very similar. Even without stretching them this far, they still give a convincing impression of the originals. In fact, I think it's rare to find flat laces on the market that have a similar feel. They are considerably more durable than the originals. The aglets (lace tips) in particular are incredibly sturdy and well-made, far surpassing the originals. Even the look of these aglets is quite similar. For reference, I've included images comparing them to the original brown laces, and also images of them on Smokejumpers and Semi-Dress boots. While White's only offers flat laces for Semi-Dress sizes, these laces allow you to put flat laces on Smokejumpers and Northwest boots as well. They create an authentic and classic look. They fit perfectly on 8-inch boots with a regular toe, and are a little long on 6-inch boots, but still usable. For Lace-to-Toe boots, I'd guess they'd fit a 6-inch size. Please use the actual measurements as a reference and make your own judgment. When you really look for them, you'll find that flat laces with a similar feel to White's are rarely found. Most of those on the market are either thick and coarsely braided like those on Converse or Stan Smiths, or thin and non-stretchy like those on running shoes, which wouldn't match the look of work boots.
