Handmade French antique piece using embroidered fabric from before 1900. A refreshing, pure, and lovely perlette, a short curtain, embroidered with a garland of blue small flowers and leaves on natural white linen. It seems to have been made in the early to mid-1900s, sewing together old embroidery pieces. On a crisp base, shades of blue to white, and the red stamens and pistils of small flowers like cherry blossoms and primroses stand out. On the soft brown curved stems, small deep green leaves line up, making it light and lovely. A simple and cute linen tape, like connecting ovals, is sewn as edging trim on the lower side. A long piece of fabric is connected in one place to create a longer piece. The material is smooth and crisp linen. It is a medium-thick, sturdy, and durable natural linen fabric with visible weaving. It is about the width of two window panes. It would be lovely as a two-tiered curtain, a cafe curtain, or for space decoration, such as hanging on a bed canopy frame or a door or space. It can also be folded and used as a table runner. It seems to have been owned by a castle or a mansion-like residence. Top & left side: Reinforced with tape on the back. The left side looks like the selvage of the fabric and is unfinished. Right side: Folded in two and whip-stitched On the linen tape fabric on the back, there are about four faint brown spots like pinpricks and slight fraying, but they are not visible from the front. The right side of the 9th image is the back of the embroidery. The final image is the back. It has been home-cleaned and is clean before listing (April 2022). You can use it comfortably right away. The weather was not good, and it appears dark, but the actual item is brighter and more vivid than the images.
