Eight modern humanistic rakugo stories depicting the bonds between people, set in theaters and performance halls, including "Suehiro Bangaichi," where the protagonist vows to break up with his delinquent friends in the audience; "Umeda Koi Shigure," which looks back on the love between a beautiful female comic storyteller and the protagonist; "Honmokutei Boshoku," where the protagonist sees his late father in a confectionery shop owner he meets on the last day of the Honmokutei; and "Ikebukuro Futari Zake," where the protagonists reminisce about a comedian who committed suicide.
