This is a pair of Levi's 501XX jeans. I purchased them about 20 years ago from a vintage clothing store in Japan. The other day, I also put my 1st denim jacket up for sale on Mercari to find a new owner. However, the market price has risen so much that I'm afraid to wear them. I thought that if I kept them stored at home, they might be mistaken for "old pants" and thrown away by my relatives after I die, so I decided to sell them now! They have a paper patch and the button back is marked with an "S," which suggests they were manufactured in the 1960s.
