The controller stopped being used because one of the buttons stopped working. I believe the up button on the D-pad wasn't working. *I can't confirm this as I no longer have the console.* Also, the L and R buttons have a deep press, so parts have been added to make the press shallower. It comes with a box, but it's the box for a black controller that I bought as a spare. Please consider purchasing only if you understand the above and are able to repair it.
