The "Classic Collection" was a partwork series featuring classical music CDs as supplements, planned by De Agostini Japan and published by Shoshinsha, which was later absorbed by the former. Sales were handled by Dohosha. The first issue had a special price of 270 yen and sold 1.8 million copies (some sources say over 2 million), with the series totaling 16 million copies sold, making it De Agostini Japan's best-selling partwork to date. CD itself is without scratches. The case has some scuffs and cracks.
