Awarded the Suzuki Morihisa Prize and the Chairman's Award of the National Traditional Crafts Exhibition Promotion Association in 1980. Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1988. Iwate Prefectural Governor's Award at the Local Creative Exhibition in 1994. Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts New Works Exhibition in 1996.
