A pair of old Kutani-yaki tokkuri (sake bottles). These are unusual as they have lids. The intricate patterns are all hand-painted, and you can see subtle differences when comparing the two. There are no chips or cracks, but being old, there is some discoloration on the underside of the lids. The gold lines in the main painted areas have remained intact and are beautiful.
