Yumihama Kasuri, a traditional craft of Tottori Prefecture and designated as an intangible cultural property. This is a remnant of a picture kasuri textile. It is a sturdy cotton fabric dyed with indigo. 40 years ago, the previous owner enjoyed this remnant by backing it and pasting it on the plain fusuma (sliding doors) of their home's living room.
