This is a special plated version of an E. Schmidt 85. I purchased it from a certain musical instrument store in Nishi-Shinjuku. The silver plating was stripped and replated without polishing, resulting in a rough texture like satin silver. The tone has the characteristic sharpness and depth of a Schmidt, with a bit of added roughness, giving it a more subdued impression. Furthermore, the throat diameter was expanded at a certain musical instrument store in Shin-Okubo, which slightly increases the resistance but also adds to the sound pressure. This is a rare, modified mouthpiece that is not usually available.
