It's not a large-scale device, but rather an excellent one that allows you to shave only as much as you need at a time. You can enjoy fresh bonito flakes anytime. It's delicious on rice with bonito flakes. When shaving bonito flakes, it's best to insert the blade from the tail end for a clean shave. Please be careful as it tends to become powder if you go the other way. After shaving the bonito flakes that came with the purchase, I have stored it in the cupboard.
