It is a tribal rug from the Baluch people residing in Herat province, Afghanistan. The emerald green accent colors occasionally interspersed within the mille-feuille-like border pattern add a touch of playfulness. Its size is suitable for a standard single bed, making it a perfect main rug for in front of a living room sofa or beside a bed. The smooth texture allows for year-round use.
