This is a tea set of Kabazaiku (cherry bark craft), a traditional craft of Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture. My parents gave it to me as a wedding gift, but I don't have a habit of drinking tea, so it has been stored away and is completely unused. I think it is in a beautiful condition for an old item, with no noticeable scratches, stains, or peeling. Although it is unused, I opened it for this listing and found that a white powder-like substance had adhered to the surface due to aging, so I wiped it clean. I am an amateur and have no knowledge, so I cannot determine whether this powder is dust, mold, or from the natural bark, so please understand. Currently, there is no adhesion because it has been cleaned, and it is in a beautiful condition. (Please forgive any oversights due to amateur work.) Although it is in relatively good condition, please note that there are some signs of aging, such as scratches that can be seen when exposed to light, as it has been stored for a long time.
