Hexagonal, with auspicious patterns: seigaiha (waves) and kawaribishi (stylized diamonds) in a four-part vertical band, with a window of red and gold peony. Looking closely, both the seigaiha and kawaribishi have variations, with all four sections having different patterns. Traditional Japanese patterns are arranged in a slightly modern way, making them visually enjoyable. The gold-colored arabesque around the inner rim also shines on the white porcelain, and combined with the flower-shaped rim, adds a touch of elegance to the bowls.
