It's made of metal, and the size is shown in the photos. I bought it at a flea market several years ago, and I still have the box. It's a pencil sharpener, but I've never used it, so I don't know how easy it is to use. It might be larger than the decorative ones. I love steam locomotives, but I'm selling it to declutter. I'll pass it on to someone who will cherish it. Thank you.
