The background of the plate depicts Holstein Palace, built in the 14th century on the island of Zealand. The motif is the first time a Christmas tree was lit indoors in Denmark. The production mold is destroyed every year, so the same design is not reproduced. Diameter: 18.5 cm It was sold at a very high price on other sites. Mini Plate This is the 1999 Royal Copenhagen Nyhavn Christmas Plaque (mini plate). Made in Denmark. It features the "Nyhavn" design. The size is approximately 8.25cm (3 1/4 inches) in diameter.
