African Folk Art This is a charming seated monkey statue with a very endearing, rounded back. Adding such primitive, folk art pieces to a vintage interior makes it very modern. I think it goes very well with French modern style! Originally, it was a lid for a bottle or a bowl, but the uneven parts were cut off to display it as an object. The height is about 32 centimeters. It's not too big and not too small, so it can be displayed with a moderate presence on a sideboard or on the floor. The seated monkey statue only. I bought it at Malaika for about 30,000 yen.
