A set of two items: a Showa-retro looking-through gourd from Nariaiji Temple, the 28th temple of the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage, and a coral gourd. These items have been stored in a chest of drawers for many years. The looking-through gourd allows you to see the Holy Kannon Bodhisattva (photo 6). Nariaiji Temple, the 28th temple of the Saigoku Fudasho (pilgrimage), is a Shingon Buddhist temple located in Tango Province (present-day Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture).
