SnowPlak Approach SnowPlak is a patented concept that allows for quick adaptation to soft snow while wearing crampons on your feet. When moving on hard snow or ice in the mountains, crampons are essential equipment and are indispensable for safe progress. By combining SnowPlak and crampons, you can handle various snow conditions. Combining the two pieces of equipment creates a "snowshoe" suitable for mountaineering, approaches, rescues, and alpine hiking. Lightweight and compact (700g/pair, 23x37x5cm), it allows for safe traversing and ascending/descending on steep slopes (over 30 degrees). SnowPlak is easily removable and fits in a 20-liter bag. This latest version features an anodized aluminum bar to improve compactness and compatibility with small crampons and strap-on crampons. The straps are 20mm wide, and the front flange facilitates the passage of the straps. This recyclable aluminum product is entirely designed and manufactured in France.
