ATLAS UPLAND snowshoes Used a few times. Basically, I kept them attached to my backpack for emergencies, and only walked with them on a little. Attaching them is easy, just pull the straps, and they didn't loosen while walking. However, if you fold the two snowshoes together for storage, the resin of the heel cup can deform, making it difficult to insert your heel. Most people probably wouldn't notice, but it was a bit stressful for me because of my bad back. They are lighter than the verts.
