A set of teacups by Kazunobu Soeda of Washin Kiln, a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association. Born in Yahata in 1949. He was first selected for the Japan Traditional Kogei Art Exhibition in 1973, and has continued to be selected and awarded prizes since then, making him a renowned ceramic artist. The complex color of the gray skin, with a thick glaze, and the contrast with the sharp, deep color of the base are appealing. This is an unused item that has been stored in its box. Upon inspection for this listing, no problems such as scratches or stains were found. The wooden box has no stains or cracks, but there is a slight chip of about 5mm on one corner.
