It discusses the current era, the "Anthropocene," and examines the state of capitalism, exploring whether alternative worlds beyond capitalism exist. It's a book that macroscopically analyzes "modern times," offering insights into the future and how we should approach it, fostering micro-level thinking. It was quite challenging, being a book by Professor Saito, but I believe I've gained a slightly different perspective on "modern times." While there are many business and self-help books, I found this one to have an interesting perspective, so I highly recommend reading it!
