A superb single malt with a rich sherry aroma, matured for at least 12 years in a combination of the finest Spanish European oak, sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, and dry Oloroso sherry casks. The GlenDronach 12 Year Old, bottled at a natural color and 43% ABV, is a sweet and creamy whisky with a good balance of fruitiness and bitterness, making it an ideal introduction to Highland malts. Purchased in November 2024 and consumed in the same month, unwashed. It will be shipped in a recycled box, wrapped in bubble wrap. I may also reuse cushioning materials I have at home.
