Purchased in 2012. I rarely used it because charging the battery was a hassle. There are traces of cellophane tape used to attach the instruction manual (Image 2). The inside of the battery cover feels sticky (Image 3). The main body and the battery cover separate. The corner of the battery cover is chipped (Image 4). I don't have any cassette tapes at the moment, so I haven't been able to confirm if it works.
