This appears to be a removed part, possibly from a temple or similar place where water flows, featuring a sculpture of a metal figure holding a child. When water is poured in, it fills up to a certain level, but anything above that drains out through a hole in the bottom. There's a gap at the feet of the figure and a pipe inside, suggesting that the excess water overflows. I suspect it was designed to look like the child was being baptized by the collected water. The material is metal, with signs of verdigris, so I believe it's bronze. It gives off a Persian or Iranian vibe, but I have no knowledge of that area. Purchased on eBay nearly 20 years ago.
