This is a Tokai VX80 from the early 80s, a Japanese vintage guitar. It's the highest-end model in the VX series and a rare guitar that rarely appears on the market. The entire electrical system has been replaced, and the wiring has been redone with vintage wiring. Both pickups are Seymour Duncan: an APN-1 in the neck position and an SH-4 JB in the bridge position. The work was done by a specialist shop. There are signs that the previous owner tried to replace the bridge, and there are holes in the body, so please check the photos. The neck is almost straight. The frets have a very slight lift (not enough to affect playability). The sound is good, with no crackling. Tiger cross-grain maple laminate top.
