Inspired by fly fishing, the "thomas" model features a unique design. The bottom half of the titanium frame's front is cut away, and a groove is carved into the soft acetate frame to hold the lenses, supported by nylon fishing line, a technique dubbed "soft nylon." This model showcases newly crafted parts and a completely novel approach. The temples are made of β-titanium, which balances hardness and flexibility, while the front and nose pads are titanium. This construction avoids the aging degradation seen in other materials, ensuring a long-lasting piece.
