Protectors are included for the back, elbows, shoulders, and chest, so you can protect your upper body with this one jacket. It has a used feel appropriate for the number of years it has been used. There are no falls, and there are no frays on the Velcro or buttons, so it can still be used. It has waterproof performance, and water did not seep through to the inner layers even in heavy rain. It probably uses a vinyl layer inside to prevent water from entering, so the outside gets wet. I liked it, but I bought a car, so I no longer have a need for it.
