Tenor Saxophone Manufacturer: YANAGISAWA Lacquer finish This is a tenor saxophone model produced by Yanagisawa, a Japanese instrument manufacturer specializing in saxophones, which is proud of its products worldwide. I purchased it 10 years ago and had it overhauled for 100,000 yen shortly after, using it for several performances. Although it's somewhat difficult to get the intonation right in the high range (though this may also be due to my lack of skill), the tone is very good, and it resonates well. I used a Selmer S90 180 mouthpiece, a Harrison ligature, and Vandoren blue box 3 reeds. I had it re-balanced about 3 months ago, and some pads were also replaced. I think you can use it for playing immediately, but if you are concerned, it might be best to have it adjusted again. Overall, there is some lacquer peeling, discoloration, and scratches due to aging, but it has a nice vintage feel. Please refer to the photos and consider purchasing. It does not come with a case, but I will pack it securely in the Altieri soft case shown in the photos. As a bonus, I will also give you the stand shown in the photos. Please understand that this is a used and vintage item, so no claims or returns are accepted. The left table key requires some getting used to, but it resonates just as well as current instruments. How about this JAPAN vintage opportunity? Thank you.
