As shown in image 3, there are three carved lines on the wings. I think these lines are effective in preventing a flat impression. This design doesn't need detailed feather carvings, so I think the artist's skill in removing material is excellent. Although there are images that appear pure white, the color is ivory. Also, there are holes on the back where the adhesive and fittings were attached.
