I'm selling this because I got another pot. I've used it with care for about 5 years. Perhaps because I used it frequently, the inner coating is peeling and feels powdery to the touch (see image 6). I contacted the manufacturer, Noda Horo, directly in the past, and they said that even if you ingest some of the peeled coating, it's not harmful to the human body. They recommended using it as a watering can for plants if you're concerned. I think it can still be used as a watering can, or for interior decoration or as a photography prop.
