This is an official shoulder patch from the Chippewa Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), actually used by the organization. The design was adopted from the 1970s to the 1980s and features detailed embroidery of the beautiful coniferous forests and lakeside scenery of northern Wisconsin, along with birds soaring in the sky. The fleur-de-lis, the symbol of the Boy Scouts, is engraved on the lower right. The Chippewa Valley Council is a historic branch named after the Chippewa tribe of Native Americans.
