This is a jessen ligature for Bb clarinet. jessen is a Danish company that handcrafts ligatures and also produces saxophone bodies and accessories. This is the Xymphonie model, which has a distinctive X-shaped appearance and is made of unlacquered bronze. It offers a slight resistance, but it doesn't feel heavy, and the moderate resistance makes it easier to articulate notes. I purchased it around spring of this year and used it about two or three times a month for about six months, but I am selling it because I have been playing less frequently and I also own other ligatures. I have uploaded many images. Because it is unlacquered, there is some tarnishing, but it has not been dropped, and I have always stored it in a case after use, so this is due to aging. I was using it for playing until recently, and there are no problems with its use or performance.
