I believe the neckline is deep. The undergarment is designed to be less visible from the collar. Due to the construction of traditional Japanese clothing, the sides are open. It is possible to close the sides with thread for measures against underarm sweat or cold. 100% cotton. Great for warmth in winter and sweat absorption in summer.
