Deba knife, blade length 18.0cm, 297g. The back is about 8.0mm thick near the top of the heel. Unfortunately, there is no maker's mark. It seems to have been circulated before a mark was added, as it shows almost no signs of use. I suspect it might be a case where a manufacturer supplying various brands in Sakai, where specialization is advanced, went out of business and the inventory was released, but I have no confirmation. It's a genuine kasumi knife, made by cladding soft iron and steel. There are almost no traces of rust, and both the blade and handle are very clean. The characteristic diagonal lines from when it was new remain perfectly on both sides. The plastic handle retains over 80% of its original luster. It can still be used like a new or unused item.
