Since I don't have the main unit, I haven't been able to confirm perfect functionality, but I was able to confirm that infrared light is emitted from all the buttons using a smartphone camera, so it should work. It was working without any problems when I had the main unit. There are stains on the upper negative terminal of the battery case due to liquid leakage. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection, as there is some discoloration and fading due to aging. m(_ _)m
