This is a Red Wing 9268. I purchased this item new. This model has already been discontinued. This particular pair has a manufacturing number in the 900s, making it a very early production run, which I think adds to its value. Non-steel toe versions have recently been re-released, so I believe the 9268 with steel toes will continue to increase in value. Regarding the condition, it has been worn only a few times, and there is very little wear on the soles, so the overall condition is good. Since I ride a right-shift motorcycle, there is a scratch on the right boot where the shift lever hits (this is why I marked the item condition as "slightly scratched or stained"). If I were to continue wearing them, that area would get damaged, so I have temporarily repaired it with commercially available repair material. It's not a significant amount of damage, so it's fine as is, but if you want to wear them in pristine condition, you could have them professionally repaired. Please check the condition in the photos.
