My child used these in junior high school. There is no name written on the heels. As shown in the image, there is a name written with a marker on the inside where the name is usually written. The image has been processed to blur it out, but it is not actually blurred out. They were used for less than two years because my child outgrew them. Basically, they were only used for physical education classes in the gymnasium. As shown in the image, there are some areas with dirt.
