This is a drum that makes the distinctive, high-pitched "pom-pom" sound used in the music for Iraqi dance, a type of belly dance. I tried playing it, making the pom-pom sound. But that sound is quite difficult to produce. It's hard. You can find it on Youtube by searching for "kassour iraqi drum". *No case.
