This bell was made in the 1970s in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca, Mexico, a region famous for its black pottery. It's a popular item among mid-century modern enthusiasts and furniture lovers, as it was used as a doorbell in the Eames House. There are small chips and cracks (possibly repaired).
