I believe it's a masterpiece from over 50 years ago. It was found in its original wrapping paper and box. I threw away the box and wrapping paper because they were tattered, but the mask inside is almost undamaged and has a like-new shine. Made by Kaei Furuse, a master craftsman of the Showa era, for Saga Folk Craft. It's an Oni mask with a bold black face, deep red lips and tongue, and four gold fangs protruding outwards. The size is 25 cm tall and 17 cm wide, making it a size that someone could actually wear.
