There is no dirt, but there are some scratches, so they are listed as "slightly scratched or dirty." The longest ones are just under 30 cm long, and the thickness is around 2-2.5 cm. Horse chestnut refers to the Western horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), a deciduous tree of the soapberry family. It is native to Europe and is famous as a street tree on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Horse chestnut is moderately hard and easy to work with.
