I'm selling a variety of used and vintage items, mainly #HelpAHumanInNeed on Ponpoko. This is a pair of J.M. Weston's iconic 180 loafers, also known as the Signature Loafer, in black. This pair has the old logo, so it's likely from the 90s. The black calf leather, carefully selected from the Du Puy tannery, is exceptional, but the shoes show considerable signs of wear. I've regularly brushed them, cleaned them with cleaner, and applied cream to nourish the leather. As someone who owns another pair of Weston loafers from the same era in better condition, I honestly don't feel much difference in wearability. Also, Weston is known for the stiffness of its leather and the process of breaking it in, but as expected, the leather on these shoes has softened considerably. While they are easy to wear, they may not offer much room for further "breaking in." Please consider these points before purchasing.
