This is the initial Tempest lot from CULT. I've used it about twice since purchasing it, and I'm selling it to organize my gear. This theme is classic, and many similar products already exist, but Tempest thoroughly pursued a "amp-scale" tone. The organic and raw distortion like the amplifiers that helped build the rock era, the dynamic range that even reproduces the differences between players, and the sense of scale of the sound that comes at you are the conditions that "amp-scale" demands. On the other hand, being "pedal-scale" is sought after by many players from the perspective of compatibility with other equipment, ease of playing, and ease of handling.
