The rubber smell still remains, and it has only been used for indoor practice, not outdoors. There are no cracks, and there is no smooth feeling that is common with old balls. It feels like it has only been a few months since it was purchased new. *Although the seams have worn down slightly, the characteristic grip of the rubber (I hope this makes sense) remains.
