This is an Inuyama-yaki bowl purchased at an antique market. It features a Kumo-ni-kin hand-painted design of autumn leaves and cherry blossoms. The base has the Inuyama mark. This is truly Inuyama ware. The shop owner said it was from the late Edo to Meiji period. Because of its size, it seems suitable for a medaka (Japanese rice fish) or goldfish bowl. It has crackling and kiln marks. There don't seem to be any noticeable large chips. Please check the images carefully. Size: Width: Approximately 20 cm Height: Approximately 9 cm
