I purchased this about 5 years ago. I haven't worn it since the first 1 or 2 years. The fabric is smooth and can be worn in the summer. There is no lining, but it is not see-through. It can be worn casually or in a more polished style. There are no noticeable stains, but please consider purchasing it with the understanding that it is a used item. Color: Beige
