A 995-purity silver engraved sculpture with hallmarks. It is egg-shaped, with two different scenes depicted on its two faces: one depicts Saint George on horseback slaying a dragon, and the other depicts the Virgin Mary holding Jesus in front of her, with four apostles on either side. Two birds are placed on the sides. It has a Greek inscription. Height: 8 cm. "Contrastada" is a Portuguese art and goldsmithing term meaning "hallmarked" or "quality tested." "Reservas" refers to the "scenes, settings, or compartments" of a sculpture or relief.
