It's a high-end custom model with an original bender installed, and it's a well-made guitar that sounds great. The original blonde finish has been stripped and refinished with extremely thin lacquer, and relic'd. It recreates the greenish look of faded ice blue metallic over time. The paint and relic work were done by Fukuro Guitars, a guitar workshop in Mie. The weather checking is done by hand, one by one, and is a surprisingly labor-intensive and precise craft. (Photos used with permission from Fukuro Guitars) There are weather checks, discoloration from yellowing lacquer topcoat, and scratches from my own use. The neck was replaced with a rosewood neck, but the sound wasn't quite right, so the original neck has been put back on. Please check the 11th photo for the current condition. The neck is in good condition, with no warping or twisting. The frets are about 80-90% remaining, based on feel. The playability is good, but there's a slight buzz when played hard, but in my experience, this is common with other Fender guitars, so it will be sold as is. The neck, which is likely lacquer finished on the higher-end Fender Japan line, is superb and contributes greatly to the clear and transparent sound. The ash body also strongly conveys the direct attack of the strings, resulting in a Tele sound with a fast response. The nut width is approximately 42mm, the string height is approximately 1mm at the 1st string 12th fret, and approximately 1.5mm at the 6th string 12th fret. The weight is approximately 3.6kg. Please forgive any errors. The knobs have been replaced with Fender genuine sombrero knobs, and the pickguard has also been replaced with a Fender genuine pickguard. There is no major crackling or noise at this time. There is no case. Cardboard or a general-purpose case will be used for shipping. There are scratches, dirt, rust, and dullness on the metal parts.
