One commercially available rechargeable battery such as Eneloop or an alkaline battery is required. Earphones are missing. General wired earphones can be used. The outer box is damaged (see photos). If using rechargeable batteries such as Eneloop, the unit can charge them. Included: USB connection assist cable, "Sound Organizer" software for PC (CD-ROM), Carrying pouch, Quick Start Guide, soft case, Instruction manual The tape on the battery cover in the last photo is a temporary fix for taking the serial number photo, and there is no damage. The battery cover closes without issue.
